What To Ask Yourself When You Choose A Weight Loss Diet? 2 Tips to Stay True to Yourself!

Fist of all, I assume you do realize that all that extra weight didn't just appeared overnight! Actually, I believe you are aware that extra weight is added slowly over your body, in quite some time. You may not realize that every day, but, it certainly is a process, and it takes some time. Of course, in that day when we have decided to change ourselves and get rid of all that weight, we act like we just woke up and suddenly our body was surrounded by fat.

This may be just an illusion or a certain peculiarity of ours; we like to lie to ourselves sometimes! Don't worry though! Many people live this weird process, just before they admit that both gaining or loosing weight are body processes. Each process takes time and must be understood and respected.

Therefore, before you commit yourself for the task of loosing weight, ask yourself this one question:

Tip 1: How Much Food Does My Body Really Need?

One of the crucial factors in dieting and any weight loss endeavor is the size/portion of the food you intake at one meal. If you have the habit of eating a big bowl of salad, than soup, than a grilled stake with baked or mashed potatoes, than a cake... you are in trouble!

If from all the above you go for the green salad and the stake, you made the right decision. Your body will be properly fed with healthy nutrients, not to mention fibers and proteins. Fiber will help you digest and get rid of what becomes waste for your body and the proteins will work your metabolism harder.

To conclude my example, you don't really need much food. You do need, however, the right kind of food: proteins, fibers, necessary and healthy fats, vitamins, minerals and so an. Remember though, small or, lets say decent portions at a time. Extras are excluded! Also, skip dessert! You don't really need that!

Another question that comes right after this first one is:

Tip 2:How Fast Do I Eat?

Do you chew your food before you actually swallow it? Really? Because when you chew the food until it becomes like a fluid almost, you cannot eat that much. Chewing the food triggers your brain to estimate when your body had enough! The brain decides quite quickly after you start eating, but YOU MUST chew your food.

If you don't chew your food, the brain doesn't get the " OK! I am full" feeling and lets plenty of unnecessary food go in. And before you know it, you are fat! A great added value regarding chewing the food is that in time you will surprised how little food you intake at one meal.

If you really ask yourself seriously this two little questions, you might have a great surprise after a little while... You have loss some weight even before choosing your diet! That will not be too bad, will it?
